DELUXE BOTSWANA AND VICTORIA FALLS
9 nights / 10 days
Day 1 & 2
Fly from Johannesburg airport in South Africa to Maun in Botswana. From here, connect on a small Cessna aircraft for a flight onto Tau Pan Camp situated within the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. With 5.18 million hectares, the reserve ranks as the second largest protected area in the world.
Explore the park with your ranger by open 4×4 vehicle. Enjoy guided walks with the San community and learn more about their social structure, anything from birth to marriage and bush survival.


Day 3 & 4
You will be amazed by the colour of the African sun rise as well as the variety of wildlife. After breakfast, depart for the Okavango Delta by flight. The Delta is Botswana’s most exclusive safari destination. It is a unique wetland system in the heart of the dry Kalahari Desert, the largest inland delta in the world. When travelling by air, the scenery below, a mosaic of land and water, looks like a perfectly constructed puzzle. Arrival at Stanley’s Camp, offering activities such as canoeing in traditional mokoro, safari boat cruises, fishing, guided walks and morning or afternoon game drives. This intimate camp provides magnificent views over the floodplains of the Okavango Delta. From the swimming pool, watch giraffe and other plains game march across the savannah.
Day 5 & 6
Last early morning mokoro trip through the Delta before flying to Linyanti reserve up north. The region has excellent grasslands and waterholes, making it a haven for wildlife. Overnight at Kwando Lagoon Camp in luxury tents, perched on the banks of the wild Kwando River. Wild dog packs regularly den close to the camp and offer excellent viewing opportunities. The evening / night drives are a Kwando Safaris speciality and may allow you to witness incredible predator hunting scenes.


Day 7 & 8
These two days are dedicated to the Chobe National Park, situated right at the doorstep of four African countries :Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Flying to Kasane Airport, you will reach Muchenje Lodge, situated inside the national park, away from the busy area of Kasane. Boating safaris allow you to view the great hippo and elephant populations of The Chobe River. We recommend the bush walks which offer another perspective and insight to the mechanics of the eco-system. Visit nearby villages and interact with the local population.
Day 9 & 10
Depart by road for the small city of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe via the Kazungula border post. The small town is built directly opposite the Victoria Falls, along the Zambezi River. It is not rare that you will cross elephant in town, entering private gardens or eating the young trees along the roads. The Falls, known by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi oa Tunya- The Smoke that thunders, is one of the “Seven Wonders of the World” and one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls on earth. Besides visiting The Falls, the destination offers an array of adrenalin activities such as zip line, flying fox or rafting in the gorge below the falls. For a more relaxing experience there are elephant interaction sessions, canoeing, helicopter flights, visiting local markets, schools or development projects. Not to be missed; the sunset cruise on the Zambezi river which reveals the most beautiful panorama and legendary African sky. Overnight at The Victoria Falls Hotel, a well preserved colonial palace.
